I am Goutham U Soratoor, a filmmaker based in Bangalore. I have worked as an editor, cinematographer, and associate director in films, advertisements, corporate media, and documentaries.
I directed a short film, which was a part of my final year project, which secured 12 awards, including an official selection in the Rome Independent Prisma Awards and Bengaluru International Short Film Festival.
I have worked in the editorial department for 4 Narrative feature films in 2024
I worked on a short film titled Claws and Teeth, which premiered at the Mami International Film Festival.
I am currently working on narrative projects and movie trailers.

A tribute to the 90's following Aarthi's personal life struggle with her misogynistic father after an unfortunate incident.
Aarthi, a hardworking tailor, treats her profession like an art form. However, her personal life has had a major downfall since her husband has been paralyzed. Her father is there to help her, but he is getting frustrated with her life and there is hot air with his daughter due to the clash of ideologies and his inferiority towards accepting her morals. This leads to a major disagreement and Aarthi’s father leaves her at her most vulnerable moment. How Aarthi tries to cope up with her personal life chaos builds the narrative.
